Workshop: Increasing College Access for Immigrant Youth

This workshop is for adults working with immigrant youth preparing to graduate high school. This workshop reviews the college application process as it pertains to undocumented, DACAmented, and other immigrant youth. Lastly, this workshop reviews financial aid implications for undocumented youth. Participants will have a better understanding of the college process as it pertains to undocumented youth. Participants will also have an opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain to case studies.
Webinar: Resources for Immigrant Youth

This workshop is for adults working with immigrant youth in educational and community settings who want to learn about resources available.
This workshop will cover best practices for supporting a young person disclosing their immigration status. Additionally, this workshop will review the implications of notable immigration statuses (undocumented, DACA, asylum, TPS, SIJS, LPR, U-Visa, T-Visa). Lastly, the workshop will review different types of resources to be aware of (grassroots organizations, community based attorneys, educational institutions, etc).
Participants will receive a list of resources of all resources reviewed. Participants will receive a tutorial of how to connect to/stay connected to certain resources.
