This workshop pis for adults working with immigrant youth preparing to graduate high school. This workshop reviews the college application process as it pertains to undocumented, DACAmented, and other immigrant youth. Lastly, this workshop revies financial aid implications for undocumented youth. Participants will have a better understanding of the college process as it pertains to undocumented youth. Participants will also have an opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain to case studies.

Strategic facilitation and management of groups requires leaders to carefully plan ahead, think on their feet, modify activities based on the group needs. In this session, educators explore what is means to facilitate (versus teaching, listening, counseling, etc.), discuss behavior challenges that interfere with managing group of teens and adults, and practice using various facilitation modalities. Participants will take part in hands-on activities, be given a list of strategies that will support their facilitating approach, and leave with action plans to use in their own classrooms.
