ASIAN MENTORING COMMITTEE
Founded in 2010, the Asian Mentoring Committee (AMC) is an affinity group of Asian and Pacific Islander volunteers who support Asian Littles in NYC and the New American Program (NAP).
NAP is Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC’s specialized language-access program, helping children from immigrant families overcome the unique obstacles they may face while navigating culture, language and customs that are different from their home environment.
NAP pairs 1st generation immigrant youth with affirming and culturally supportive mentors.
