Respectful of your privacy and grateful for your support, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City observes the following privacy guidelines for donors, volunteers, families and visitors to our website. We collect and use information to communicate with you about our programs, services and events. We also use our website to enroll Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and children, youth and families.

The security of personal information is a high priority for us. We maintain safeguards against unauthorized disclosure use, alteration and destruction of personal information in our possession.

We only collect personally identifiable information that you knowingly and voluntarily provide. For instance we may collect your name, mailing address, telephone number or email address to add to our mailing list to supply with updated information about our events and services or to enroll you in a program.

If you make a donation or register for an event using your credit card, your credit card number will be used only for that particular transaction and not stored. All on line credit transactions are further protected by high grade encryption and security protocols.

From time to time Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City may make our mailing list available to other worthy non profit organizations whose services may be of interest to our supporters. You can request that your name not be shared with other charities or removed from our mailing list.
