PAYMENT, REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Space is limited for workshops, and reservations are required. All workshops take place at the BBBS of NYC office located at 245 Fifth Avenue, NYC. All webinars are held online and can be attended from your home or office computer. To view workshop schedule, and register for a workshop, click on the links below.

PAYMENT POLICY:
PAYMENT MUST BE MADE BEFORE ATTENDING THE WORKSHOP.

ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT

  • Check from an agency, business, or organization payable to Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC
  • Money Order
  • Cash (exact amounts only)
  • Professional Development Workshop Series Voucher issued by The Center for Training
  • Personal checks are NOT accepted

Please review the following policies and procedures regarding our workshop series:

  • Cost per workshop will be determined on a sliding scale based on your agency or program budget.
  • If payment is not received on or before the date of the workshop, the registered participant will be responsible for settling the account and making payment within 10 days.
  • Participants who have made arrangements to make cash payment on the day of the workshop must bring exact amounts. Change will not be available on-site.
  • Should a paid registrant miss the workshop, no refunds will be given. However, the Center offers a credit in the form of a voucher, which can be used towards a future workshop within one year. Vouchers are not automatically issued, but are offered upon request. Requests must be made no later than 10 business days after the day of the missed workshop.
  • Unpaid registrants who fail to notify us of cancellation 24 hours prior to the scheduled workshop will still be responsible for settling the account and making payment within 10 days.
  • Registrants are expected to arrive at lest 10 minutes early to check-in for all workshops.
  • Light refreshments are served during workshops.

DISCOUNTS

  • A 15% discount is available for groups of 3 or more from the same agency attending the same workshop. Discounts may not be spread over various workshops. Multiple discounts applied to one workshop are not permitted (i.e. 15% group discount and $5 webinar discount).
  • For each $15 webinar payment, a $5 credit will be applied to toward any in-person workshop held within 90 days of webinar date. To redeem, participants must request $5 credit upon registration for in-person workshop.

BY TRAIN

Take the #6 train to 28th Street & Park Avenue. Walk two blocks west to Fifth Avenue & 28th Street.

Take the R/W train to 28th Street & Broadway. Walk one block east to Fifth Avenue & 28th Street.

BY BUS

Take the M3 or M4 to 26th Street & Fifth Avenue.

DIRECTIONS TO BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF NYC MAIN OFFICE at 223 East 30th Street (Between 2nd & 3rd Avenues)

BY TRAIN

Take the #6 train to 28th Street & Park Avenue. Walk two blocks north to 30th Street and 2 1/2 blocks East to 223 East 30th.

BY BUS

Take the 3rd Avenue M101, M102, or M103 to 30th Street. Walk 1/2 block to East to 223 East 30th Street.
