Borough Mentoring Networks
Borough Mentoring Networks
The Borough Mentoring Networks were launched in the summer of 2001 as an initiative to link
youth-serving agencies across the 5 boroughs of New York City. The goal of the Networks is to expose
the benefits of mentoring, and share best practices of youth development, volunteer management
and program management to all of the 5 boroughs. In order to achieve this goal agencies join
together as a coalition, allowing for an elaborate networking system of sharing knowledge,
ideas and solutions.
You do not have to have an existing mentoring program to be a part of the Borough Networks.
